President Biden signed a pardon for his son Hunter Sunday after the younger Biden was convicted of federal gun charges and pleaded guilty to federal tax evasion charges earlier this year, the outgoing Democrat announced.

Biden, 82, claimed he was taking the controversial action after he watched his son being “selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted.”

The about-face comes after the president previously claimed he would not offer a pardon or clemency for Hunter, 54.

The pardon’s language, which was posted online along with the 46th president’s statement, covers all offenses committed by Hunter against the US between Jan. 1, 2014 and Dec. 1, 2024, including any crimes he has not been charged for.

Hunter Biden pleaded guilty in September to nine counts tied to bilking Americans of $1.4 million in taxes and was found guilty of three federal gun charges in June.

I love how the wording of the pardon mirrors ford's pardon for Nixon. It specifies a period of time going back a decade. And words it to essentially shield hunter from crimes know about as well as crimes we apparently don't know about. Keep in mind hunter was convicted by a jury of his peers.

The real fun part (as obaminated points out) is the pardon includes any and all undiscovered crimes going back to 2014.
The other fun part is if the DOJ decides to go after anybody else related to the Biden shenanigans Hunter can't plead the fifth when asked to testify. Also current DOJ can't continue to sit on any documents claiming they are part of an ongoing investigation.
On that last one they can and will run out the clock claiming they need time to get everything properly presented.
I don't give a shit really about the pardons because what father wouldn't do that for a child. I posted in the forums probably five or six months ago that Hunter would be pardoned by Joe.
The two things that bother me is Biden lied about not pardoning Hunter several times and even more bothering is how the justice system covered for Hunter up to this point.
